an historian of Roman art and architecture for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professorship, beginning September 1, 2009. Candidates must have completed the Ph.D. by September 1, 2009. Candidates should have teaching experience and a record of scholarly production, with promise of continued research and publication. In addition to their specialty candidates should be able to teach an introductory course in the History of Western Art from antiquity to the Renaissance; an ability to teach classical architecture would be an advantage.
