News coverage of assorted events is just beginning to trickle in, but a tip o' the pileus to Laura Flusche who has alerted us to a pile of fun photos at Eternally Cool ... there's a nice set of photos of gladiators and soldier types parading around the Colosseum ... and another nice set ... there's also a small set with commentary of some Vestal Virgins reenacting the Parilia (ahem ... remember to remove the wedding ring!) ...
