The Department of History at Emory University invites nominations and applications for the newly endowed Betty Gage Holland Chair in Roman History.
The department seeks an outstanding scholar with a distinguished record of publication, teaching, and service. Scholars at the level of full professor in all periods of Roman history, including Late Antiquity, are welcome to apply. Ability to contribute to both the undergraduate and graduate programs in ancient history is required.
