in Greek literature, starting September 2008, with specialization in the
literature of the Classical or Hellenistic periods. Teaching
responsibilities will include a variety of undergraduate and graduate
courses at all levels, including courses in the original language and
courses in Classical literature in translation, mythology, and ancient
societies and cultures; graduate student advising is important. Tenured
applicants should send a letter of interest, a comprehensive Curriculum
Vitae and the names of three people who may provide letters of
recommendation; additional evidence of accomplishment in teaching and
research may subsequently be requested. Non-tenured applicants should
send a complete dossier, including a Curriculum Vitae, evidence of
accomplishment in teaching and research, three letters of
recommendation, and a writing sample of no more than 30 pages. Review of
