We are currently seeking a Latinist for a one-year position at
the level of Visiting Assistant Professor to begin on 15 August 2007 in
the University of Miami's Department of Classics. The appointed
individual will help in the building of the program by teaching Latin
and Greek at all levels and broad survey courses of the literature and
culture of the Greco-Roman world, and by participating in various
departmental activities. Teaching experience and a Ph. D in Classics by
